The project
Lower Fathom had a strong static brand identity and genuinely excellent live programming, but no motion language at all — every video asset the venue used was ad-hoc, inconsistent, and didn't carry any of the identity's actual visual DNA. The engagement built a real animated motion system directly out of the existing static identity's typography and color system, rather than starting motion design over from scratch, so the brand film and every future video asset would clearly belong to the same brand as the venue's signage and print materials.
Delivered as a 90-second brand film, a full animated motion-identity system (logo animation, lower-thirds, transition language), and a lightweight motion style guide for the venue’s in-house social team.
